Although we've been getting more active on this site recently on the blog and forums, we felt it was still time for a new site to go with the new domain.

Thanks to Grottim for paying for it and putting in some time to get things going, and also Deva for looking through templates and helping with some coding and design.

Masterbake

well guys good and bad news this week. First ill start with the good news long time player D.Ginzbourg wil be joining us in the PR division. I've known him for a long time and hes a solid guy who specialises in vehicles- something that we do lack as a division so hes a great addition. 

Also our first match of the Pr golden squad competition is this sunday. Not sure of the lineup yet so ill ask around and ull know by friday or saturday. Its against the FU clan not sure of the standard but im sure they're no match for us

Well done to snook and zi8 who have been promoted to lance corporal for ther long term commitments to the clan. Well done. 

However finally some sadder news for the PR div this week. Long time bastard makemebad is off to sports college and will be inactive in matches for quite a long time. Hes been one of our most active members since the division was founded and unlike certain very active birds he's not a massive twat. He was a good clan member and it's a shame to see him go inactive. However he says he'll still be on xfire so in any moments of boredom you maybe able to talk to him  Still to show that we might actually miss him then he will be promoted to the rank of sergeant. Thanks for your commitment and we hope ull be playing wen ur back.

Hi guys,

Before i go on holiday for a week i thought id better give a progress report. Well after much discussion about getting a new website i decided that we may aswell get one as we'd just been putting it off for too long. the domain is www.commandobastards.com and has basically all of the pages that we do now. I'll talk to mbake when he's back but this will definitely be where the PR division bases its operations and i think mbake wud be crazy not to aswell. The PR div will have a scrim this sunday an 8vs8 against L4gis clan ODS it will be at 7 brit time and ill need to confirm the map and the server. Mbake and makemebad will be in charge of the scrim and ill give them the appropriate lists that they need and all of the details. Please give feedback on the new site while im away and ill edit it when im back.

Hi guys, if any on you have been checking the forums you will have seen Monyamafiyas idea of a vanilla tournament throughout the clan which means CB! and CBpr! It will be a league running on whenever people feel like a match. Monya has been working hard on sorting out the teams and this is what he's come up with. Well done on his hard work. The players at the top of the list will be the respective teams captain and he will be responsible for arranging the scrims for the team and then getting the team so they are able to play. Scrims can be whatever size the teams want but 4vs4 is a minimum. When the matches are played just report them in a thread ill set up on the forums- or if ur feeling lazy then tell either me or Mbake and the results will be noted. ill set up a league table in the sidebar or possibly make a page for it along the top.

Firstly guys, hi i havent been on lately sorry about that all shall be explained,

Well firstly i'll start with the positive news which is an injection of new recruits. I would like to firstly welcome back one of the clans original members- Mikelee. He was here from the clans start in June of 2008, he's new to the mod but from what i can gather he is adapting well and will be one to look out for. Also another old face has rejoined us- Slayernumbers, those who were here when the division first started will probably remember him otherwise you may not, another solid addition to the clan and we are greatful you're on board. Also a transfer from the vanilla division sees one of the clans founding members lindop join the division- again he hasnt been playing for long so be patient but another player to look out for. Finally some more good news is that we have Daro and Phyton from Crack Clan who have joined us for some PR action. These guys are great at vanilla so im guessing that they will be good shots in PR and be good additions to the clan.

Also to explain my inactivity is quite simple. Basically i ordered a new computer, it came and it broke lol. So i probably wont be playing until sometime next week, but i'll be keeping an eye on things.

Also those of you that have noticed the clan has become less noob will probably have realised that mbake has gone. Unfortunately it aint permanent but he has gone to sunny spain for 2 weeks so you wont be seeing him for a bit. On the 1st of August i will also be off for 2 weeks however i think for one of those weeks i will have a laptop with internet so i will be able to keep admining. However with mbake on hols and my new comp being broken the PR div has decided that we will take a break from competative PR until im back on the 14th unless i can talk to mbake before that. However when we're back an active we have a roster of 25 which means we will hopefully be able to branch out into 12vs12 ladders so be patient and im sure that we will have a good end to the year. Meanwhile you guys can pub etc and i'm sure you'll have fun. Please just be patient untill im back and then we'll hope to have weekly events scrims, training etc.

Also we wont be active for that month of August however im going to try and keep the server running so that it doesnt need to be set up again. Remember you can donate to PR division at anytime by clicking the link to donate to the PR division on the sidebar at the right. Just make sure that you click that and not the vanilla one!

Many of you will have heard about the CB! film that has been talked about a lot. Well no one has actually come forward to help, so we're a bit stuck. Nobody has really come up with any ideas so i know it's the one that everyone loves to do but im thinking that we do Black Hawk Down. I've had a look and i havent seen a decent version so maybe we should make one. I'm gonna be as bored as shit on hols and i have no computer to use which plays games so i might start writing us a script. Maybe we can do what many have failed to do and make a decent version. If anyone has better ideas then can you tell me asap.

Finally some of you may remember that we did have a scrim against QTF last sunday. Unfortunately despite our best efforts we were beaten. We won the first round by 16 tickets however we were just plain shit in the second round and we ended up getting hammered. I cant remember the final score but it werent great. So unlucky guys. Bastard of the match award goes to syncmaster well done!!

Hi guys,

Sorry for the recent inactivity but my computer has taken a bigger dump than normal. It has gone for repair should be back by the end of the week, hopefully with the verdict of broken so i can get a new one! So i will be inactive from a gaming point of view until around thursday or friday. However that hasnt stopped me from organising a few things. Firstly lets start with some negative news. Two long standing members weavy and gamasutra have left the clan. They have been committed members of the clan and have decided to take a break for the game. We wish them good luck in the future. However we'll move to some good news. Since my last post we have 3 new members. Firstly Terminatro has rejoined the clan- guys who have been here since the founding will know who i'm talking about. Also we have new recruits eriand and migacz, we wish them good luck in the clan and hope they enjoy ther stay.

Also while i have been inactive we have organised some events. Firstly we have joined the PR golden squad competition. If you are worried you cant see CBpr! then have no fear, we called the team "we love Nightingale" in dedication to the clans favourite type of bird. Matches will commence soon and i will alert those required with some time in advance. Thanks to masterbake for his help in organising this.

Some more news on the scrim point of view is that we have a scrim next sunday against QTF. The time will be at 8 Brit time, although i will have to confirm. The numbers we arent sure of yet but i will start asking people when they are online.

On another topic i still havent had any takers except Warno for helping edit the film although i'm sure masterbake is willing to help. If i could get anymore volunteers then that would be great otherwise progress will be painfully slow.

On the server point of view then you will notice that yes it hasnt been used as much as we would like. However im not sure if we have corrupt data on it as people are complaining of CTDs as soon as they load. So if someone could go on and check if that's the case and tell me then that would be good. I also have to thank Warno for his donation to CBpr! and he has paid the server costs for one month. So thanks for that. Guys if we could get some more donations then that would be great as it's not going to work very well if just me and Warno are contributing. You can donate to the clan by clicking on the donate to PR link. Dont worry about donating to the cost of TS yet ill tell you more about that when it's up for renewal. Ther is a list of contributors so you can see who has donated what to the clan.

Finally with the summer holdiays looming for many then i will need a heads up when you guys are inactive and planning to go away. If you are then could you tell me asap. I think what we'll do is make the clan inactive for scrims starting the 1st of August and finish it on the 20th or something like that. As me and masterbake are away for some of those dates and i have no doubt that many more will be aswell.

Hopefully i'll talk to you guys during the week about the scrims coming up and also holiday events and all other issues raised in this fuker of a post. Been a while since I posted, helloes again.  Firstly, I changed the members page to a roster one with listed teams, cba with ranks and all that shit and this looks better anyway.

Anyway, yesterday CBpr played a match against a mix team of L4gi's 8M1H and some other dudes on Muttrah, which went reasonably well.  In the end it was an 86-70 loss, but a few new recruits, Lindop (Trinto), and Warno played their first matches, and we had 2 decent rounds despite the crazy 0.86 problem of not being able to spawn in with the newly added limited kits.

According to Grottim, I get to be Bastard of the match, I have to thank the new sexyness of the quadrazoom LMG for that.

In other PR news, long-serving Commando Bastard Nightingale has decided to leave the clan due to disagreements with other senior members.  We wish him good luck in future.  Combined with the inactivity of Henrik and Tolga, that leaves higher ranks somewhat empty - this is a great time for other established members to strive for promotion.  With that in mind, Makemebad is promoted to Corporal thanks to his continued commitment to both public and match play.  Warno and Gimp are also promoted from Cadet to Private rank.

Masterbake

Hi guys,

well tonight in PR we have a scrim against 8 men 1 horse. Yes i was surprised aswell a clan with a name as wacky as ours. However they are very good, all of their players play in PRT and so we will definitely be up against it. However i do think that our 8vs8 team is quite strong so we may give them a good game. The map is muttrah city skirmish. Not sure of the server details could be ours, not sure. The time is 1900 brit time. The lineup i got so far is 05grottim Nightingale Masterbake Term

Makemebad G!mp Warno. So as u can see we only have 7. However i do have 3 maybes so numbers wont be a problem. Hopefully it will be a resounding CB! victory, but dont get your hopes up...

Hi guys,

Well now that we have the new server we may aswell start using it. So tommorow at 18:00 British time there will be a training session run by myself. I'm hoping to get at least a squad so that we can go through a few members and then have a bit of fun with some scrimmage or target practice at the end. Just want to go through a couple of key things with you. Also when the new patch comes put then we will have a squad reshuffle with some new squad leaders coming into play so that we can give our current ones a rest from it and let them do something else. Also check out the new award system they have some minor tweaks that need doing to them but they are mostly going to be unchanged.

Hi guys, been a long time since my last news post so i thought that i'd make one. Well first of all i'd like to point out that there has been another clearout. We are now down to members that play at least 3 times a week who the management feel are really dedicated to the clan. This means of course that there has been another shake up of the squad system, have a look at the squads page to see your new squads/roles. Also i would like to announce some promotions seeing as people have been commited to the clan for the last scrims that we have played then i thought that they deserved it. Congratulations to syncmaster and Gamasutra for attaining the rank of Lance Corporal, Well done!

Now i have to move onto some dissapointing news which relates to our scrim results. Firstly last saturday we played GDW. This clan totally outclassed us and in the end we lost by a margin of around 60 points. Then we played DAM the next day and well guys we went down to 7 players in the second round and up against 8 it didnt seem like we had much of a chance. However the remaining 7 fought valiantly and unfortunately we had to leave due to the overall shiteness of the DAM server and the people running it. However when we left, down to 6 after gamasutra got banned, we were overall 3 tickets ahead with 10mins left to play. They recorded the result as a DAM victory but i filed a complaint against them so hopefully we will hear of the outcome of the complaint in the next 1-2 days.

The nearest scrim a can confirm at the moment is the 20th of June. However we may have a friendly this week against BTB however at the moment i cant confirm that so watch this space!!
